Intended as an indestructible all-round fire magnet. It was my very
first Carnifex model, and I just knew I had to have the Regenerate
head. Of course, having Regenerate means I have to take all the other
survivability biomorphs, to maximise my return on investment in the
Regeneration... So, it's a very expensive model to field, but it really
is very hard to kill too.

With shaded claws
I eventually realized that I needed the S10 shooting to deal with tanks, especially fast tanks. I settled on a versatile Venom Cannon plus Twin Devourer loadout: It can rattle tanks reliably at range, and once it gets up close it can shred squadrons of light vehicles too.

The Sniperfex and Devilfex configurations are cliché, but for good reasons; They really are very effificent loadouts.
I used the spinebanks back plate, partly for variety but also to field it as a Dakkafex occasionally - adding Spine banks and Reinforced Chitin to the the base Enhanced Senses and two Twin Devourers. There's just something about rolling 10 twin-linked S6 attacks...

Not much to discuss here. Find some nice dense cover and start
shooting anything in range... Works equally well against tanks
and infantry concentrations.

I like the Old
One Eye fluff, and knew I had to include him in my
army - but I didn't particularly like the
model - the plastic
Carnifexes are so much cooler than the previous editions
Screamer-killers, from whom the Old One Eye box set id obviously
descended. So, I built a regular heavy Close Combat Carnifex with
the upgrades usually fielded by Old One Eye, plus a little extra battle
damage.
