Deployment

I deployed my Zoanthropes (6) in the center , behind the ruins, he deployed Devastators (F) immediately across with a nice view of all the objectives. I put stealers (3, 4) on the flanks, while he put down tactical squads (C, D, E) flanking the devastators. I added a Devilfex (2) to the right flank, out of view of the Devastators - the only dangerous weapon facing it was a single plasma gun. He put down a Librarian (B) in the center, and I deployed my Tyrant (1) in the center, again out of sight of the Devastators. The more turns those big guns don't have a target, the happier I am. He keeps his Deathwatch squad (A) in reserve, and I (after some deliberation) deploy my Ravener (5) on the far left, of of sight. The intent is to let it skulk forward, possibly grabbing or contesting the leftmost objective in the last turn.

Turn 1

I win the roll-off, and since he can't really see much of my stuff, I let him go first - that will let me take the last turn and perhaps grab a surprise objective.

He shuffles his Tac squads a bit, fires an ineffective Fury of the Ancients and a LasCannon wings a carelessly placed Tyrant Guard.

In my turn, I wade forward (still trying to keep out of sight of the Devastators) with the shooters (Tyrant, Zoans, Fex) and keep the 'Stealers out of sight entirely. Shooting sees off a few Marines.

Turn 2

No sign of the Deathwatch. The Librarian advance into the central building, lets loose the Fury of the Ancients and kill a few Genestealers. The Tyrant and Zoanthropes advance into the opposite central building, and let loose on the Librarian. The Tyrants (insta-killing) venom cannon shots bounce off the Librarians ancient armor, but a few devourer worms find a crack in the suit and get in, causing a wound. The first Zoanthrope fires a focused blast, gets lucky (Psychic test succeeds, Psychic Hood fails, hit(!) and wound, and the poor Librarian fails his cover save, torn apart by the S10 bolt). The other Zoanthropes blasts the Devastators, who are in dispersed formation, so only one succub. The Devilfex hugs the cover of the building, inching forward, downing a few space marines with every round of shooting.

Turn 3

No sign of the Deathwatch. The Devastators vaporize a Zoanthrope (2 LasCannon hits!) and the Marines on the right flank puts a wound on the Devilfex.

The Stealers on both sides, and the Ravener, charge forward. The central fireteam and the Fex continues blasting the Devastators, who are now down to four Marines.

Turn 4

The Deathwatch Arrive! And materialize in the middle of a solid rock...

The remaining marines shoot at everything they can, but does little significant damage.

On the left, the Ravener charge in, pinning the 3 remaining Marines in Squad Gamma. It cause no damage, takes a wound in return, but stand fast. If it can survive a the marine turn, the 10 stealers behind it will arrive and finish off the job. On the right, 5 stealers charge the remains of the Squad Beta, while the fex blasts and charges Squad Eta. The Genestealers leaves only two marines standing, taking no losses in return, and the Devilfex stomps on three marines, leaving a single survivor from that squad to fall back (and later fail his Last Man Standing, running off).

Turn 5

The Genestealer finish off their prey, and the Ravener on the left holds firm long enough to let the large Stealer brood fatally impact the three remaining Marines. Concentrated fire from the fireteam and the fex vaporizes the few remaining Devastators, and the table is empty.

Victorious Slaughter, we didn't bother counting points.

[Edit: In hindsight, I realize I forgot to check for Instinctive behaviour for the Fex and the Ravener. Oops...  Would have been embarrassing if that Ravener had turned tail and run for the comfort of Daddy Tyrant, instead of charging like it was supposed to.]
